Hello folks,
I’ve contributed a blog post to the MMU Light Research Blog, hosted by Tim Edensor and Steve Millington. The post looks at the use of light and dark in the game Alan Wake, in which the player experiences a largely darkened forest landscape. The game proves successful in creating an atmosphere in which changing levels of dark and light create varying tension. My post can be found here, and the blog’s homepage with a series of interesting posts is at http://www.lightresearch.mmu.ac.uk/.
Thanks! Rob
